Worked as a Software Engineer / Integration Developer on the ERIE Insurance Life Insurance project, supporting enterprise integration and policy-related business workflows. Developed and maintained REST and SOAP API integrations using IBM DataPower, IBM API Connect, and IBM ACE/IIB. Designed integration flows for message processing, routing, transformation, request/response handling, and backend service integration. Implemented data mapping and transformations using ESQL and XSLT with XML and JSON payloads. Performed API testing using Postman and SoapUI. Worked with Mendix and CoreSuite applications, understanding application flows and supporting functional testing, policy creation based on business scenarios, test case execution, and application validation. Used Splunk and DPOD for monitoring, log analysis, debugging, and troubleshooting. Supported defect fixing, root-cause analysis, deployments using UrbanCode and GitLab, production support, and post-deployment validation.
